over-the-line

   I was looking through a folder of my old artwork, my intentional and unintentional homages to Beardsley, Picasso, Erté, Gorey, Warhol,  Herring and Hirschfeld, among others. The folder was labeled, "Life on the line". The folder was originally from around age ten, so it would appear that either I am in a rut of quite some duration, or that the line and I are in a lifelong relationship. In either instance, permit me to share some more recent additions to that old folder.
